I don't get it. It looks like it would be harder to reach with no benefit over having it in a more conventional location.
If your bars were crowded b/c of lights, coffee holder, or whatever and you had downtube shifter mounts free, just saying this is a possible option.

This is pretty cool though, huh? You can do this with any spring-strike Crane Bell (the Karen or the Sakura) and an m5 boss. We got a kick out of it..
