So...what do ya think?

The guys from Tange paid us a visit this weekend after Interbike. Lucky for us, they didn't come empty-handed. Their bounty included this tubular chromoly crank. It's really stiff AND it's weight is acceptable. Now comes its real test though...what do you guys think of it?

It looks pretty nifty. Double only? Q-factor?

I like keeping it constructive, but I can't think of anything positive to say about it except for the chain rings. They're pretty nice, and I like the two tone look...

But I'm really not that sure of the crank arms. I think the logo is a bit much. I also think the proportion of the spider in comparison to the arm is a bit out of whack.

But, I think the welds look nice and uniform. Sorry Tange...

I like 'em! Triple 110 x 172.5.

Very interesting. Very interested. I'd love to get more spec's on it. It would be especially nice if it came in 2.5 mm increments. Interesting shape on the spider. What size bb is recommended and what is the tread/q? Price?

I wouldn't mind if the logo was lower key - not a dealbreaker, especially if it's removeable. But a smaller, classier logo would be preferred.

One more question - is that a removeable spider, or is it all one piece?

i agree with cyclofiend about the logo: if it were less garish and/or easily removable, i would be all over these. hooray for 50/34 rings, although i wouldn't mind a bigger outer ring.

nice, I'd give it a try.

When and where can I get one?
Would maybe like one for my new Double Cross...

hey cyclofiend-the spider isn't removable, it's welded on

I think it'd be nice if the spider was removeable (like xtr 952). then all need to do for diff bcd is swap the spider which is benefit for manufacturing, too.

I like it. Looks fast and durable. Curious to know who this is aimed at?

I very much like these cranks. Would be great for Old-School BMX restoration and new builds. Please make them in Chrome.

I like the crank arms but I think Stainless rings would look awesome.

Thanks for the update about the spider - for the record I think nonremoveable is a plus. Keep us up to date on availability!

I like! but the price will be the limiting factor for me.
Any sense for the potential cost?
