Tanaka Brass Fenders

A few months ago we said we were working on getting Honjo Brass Fenders. We still haven't gotten them, but we did find these beauties from another Japanese outfit named Tanaka. They only offer smooth finish....no hammered or beveled. They require custom fitting...meaning you get to drill the holes exactly where you want them to go.

Stainless steel and aluminum versions available as well. Not badly priced at $59.99. The brass will set you back about $100.

Oh, purty! What about the mounting hardware... those similar to the honjos or does one have to provide their own? Do they come in bronze as well for the bronze set?

it comes with stainless steel hardware and stays, similar to honjo daruma screws and such.

Are these clearcoated, or will they grow their own patina?

I have a few questions.
How long are the front fenders compared to Berthouds?
What sort of rolled interior edges do they have? Tight like Honjos or open like Berhouds?
Any chance of 650A/650B fenders, ideally about 52mm wide as a more rugged alternative to the VO zeppelins?
Could you post a photo of the hardware or a set on a bicycle?

I read that Tanaka is a very typical outfit fom Japan. It is very expensive because it has many details that must be taken into account
